The Buchau-Hütte was built in 1978 at 1750 m above sea level. The first addition came just a little later and then, in 1989, we completed a major remodeling and expansion project, which included building on a marvelous sun terrace.
A fire destroyed the hut completely in 1999. Notwithstanding, it was fully rebuilt in the same year.
2004 saw the addition of a cozy winter garden, from where our guests are treated to a marvelous panoramic view of the surrounding mountain world.
A new addition in 2012 gave us the opportunity to offer more rooms
The latest change came in 2021, when a new sun umbrella was installed on the terrace
